The Metzner AM 2000 cuts and strips wires and multi-conductor round cables of up to 6mm²
cross-section and 6mm outer cable diameter to perfect size. With the "strip in several steps"
function, the machine can also strip off longer lengths of insulation. Even window stripping is
among the standard functions offered by these machines. The basic version of the AM 2000
already supports the connection of marking and labelling devices, as well as the control with a PC/laptop for machining complex batches in cable assembly.

The standard AM 2000 models come equipped with a high-quality cable straightening device.
cables and wires in this sort of cross sectional range are often processed from coils which are wound around a small radius. Only the Metzner standard straightening device guarantees that the wires and cables are straightened before processing.

A standard "end-of-material" shut-down function offers the big advantage of automated and
non-monitored operation. The machine detects the end of the processed material and interrupts the selected job automatically - without losing the "number processed" data.
